BGOILS is a collective of three farmers situated in heart of the world famous Bulgarian Rose Valley. Combined, they bring together over six decades of farming experience. They own and manage over 1400 hectares of arable land and three distilleries for production of essential oils and floral waters.

The collective came to The Kitchen needing for a logo and an overall presentation. They had already booked a number of events and required an identity that showcases their values. The design had to be sleek, modern and classy. However it had to reflect BGOILS ‘ s extensive expertise, reliability and the high quality of their production.

The Kitchen faced two main challenges. Their logo had to separate them from the vast number of low quality producers.  Diluting or adding synthetics and chemicals to the essential oils lowers their quality. In a highly competitive market, BGOILS want to stand out with their impeccable quality and pure products. The second challenge was the connotations of their name, very much giving that petrol corporation vibes. We designed a logo that calls for that organic feel. Thus, making their name appear less as that of a petrol company and more as the logo of an experienced, authentic producer of high quality natural products.

What inspired their logo the most was listening to these modern alchemists talk about their crops. Lavender, Rosa Damascena, yarrow, and Melissa transformed into precious, aromatic drops. We present you BGOILS – a company that in line with its produce understands, listens and respects Nature’s way, a company that associates with Nature’s power of growth.
